Job summary

Cincinnati Test Systems (CTS) is a global manufacturer of leak and function test solutions serving a wide range of industries, including transportation, energy, medical, consumer, and industrial manufacturing. CTS is seeking an Assembly Test Technician to join our Assembly team to help build complete ALPS machines and support the equipment through power‑up, testing, troubleshooting, and final debug.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with automated machinery or industrial equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics, drawings, and blueprints.
Experience with sensors, motors, pneumatics and IO devices.
PLC/HMI-controlled equipment experience preferred.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Able to use hand and power tools and electrical test equipment.
Good communication with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

Assemble automated inspection machines from scratch and from build to operation.
Follow electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, BOMs and technical docs.
Perform first-time power-up and startup of machines.
Conduct electrical, IO, mechanical and pneumatic checkouts.
Load and run ALPS control programs; perform setup and testing.
Troubleshoot issues during startup and testing with engineering support.
Collaborate with ALPS engineers to implement adjustments.
Document test results, issues, and changes; maintain a clean work area.
