Job summary

Cincinnati Test Systems (CTS) is a global manufacturer of leak and function test solutions serving a wide range of industries. We are seeking an Assembly Test Technician to join our Assembly team in Harrison, Ohio, to help build ALPS machines and support equipment through power‑up, testing, troubleshooting, and final debug.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working with automated equipment, solving problems, and seeing a machine come together from build through successful operation,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated machinery or industrial equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Help build and assemble complete automated inspection machines.
• Work from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and other technical docs.
• Perform first-time machine power-up and startup.
• Complete electrical device and I/O checkout.
• Perform mechanical and pneumatic system checkout.
• Load existing machine and controls programs developed by ALPS Engineering.
• Perform machine setup, functional testing, and final checkout.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls issues during startup and testing.
• Collaborate with ALPS engineers to identify problems and implement adjustments.
• Partner with Project Manager and Assembly team to keep builds on schedule.
• Document test results, issues, and changes as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
