Job summary

Dematic is actively looking for a Test Technician to join our Mobile Automation team. We develop cutting-edge Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems, robotic fleet controllers, and cloud-based logistics software that help manufacturers, warehouses, and distribution centers operate more efficiently.

As a Test Technician with Dematic, you’ll work hands-on with advanced automation and robotics technology, helping ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of industry-leading AGV solutions.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in electronics or testing.
• Experience with MS Office, Windows OS, IP, and Networking.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency with data collection devices like oscilloscopes, meters, sensors and gauges.
• Hands-on, builds, tests, and debugs tools throughout development.
• Logical, analytical problem-solving with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Test electronic assemblies before they are installed in upper-level assemblies.
• Repair parts returned from customers to ensure efficient functionality.
• Power up AGVs and prepare them for testing.
• Test vehicles in a simulated customer system to meet requirements.
• Support test track configuration with Engineering for smooth procedure.
• Ensure end product meets world-class Dematic Corp standards.
• Work on multiple projects to support AGV ship dates.
• Report issues to Engineering and assist in resolution.
