Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an Automation Test Lead for an onsite, long-term contract in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on owning the end-to-end testing lifecycle, defining testing requirements, and driving automation while keeping manual testing to a minimum.

You will lead a globally distributed QE team, collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts, and champion modern automation and AI-assisted testing practices.

Qualifications

• Develop and document test strategy and plans aligned with project goals.
• Identify required testing types and plan resources, schedules, and tooling.
• Champion shift-left testing — engage early in the product development lifecycle.
• Oversee preparation and execution of test cases, ensuring thorough requirements coverage.
• Coordinate cross-team SIT and UAT across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks.
• Balance manual and automated testing based on project context and risk profile.
• Drive continuous testing integration within CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as primary contact for testing-related queries and provide regular updates on progress.
