Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Test Engineer in Bethesda, MD, for Agile DevOps support on mission-critical systems. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and offers a salary up to $185,000 per year.

You will develop and automate test scripts, validate results, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include collaborating with Scrum roles to test features, building automated test cases with Selenium/Katalon, and leveraging AWS cloud and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience or MS 6–10 years of experience
• Experience testing both back end and front end processes
• Significant scripting experience (Python) to automate tasks
• Experience with software performance testing practices
• Experience creating, executing and documenting test cases in agile cadence
• Experience with Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS) and DevOps tools
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and teamwork at pace

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile software development standups, planning and increments
• Assess Story Points and complexity to ensure testing aligns with user stories
• Collaborate to devise test approaches and automate recurring/regression tests
• Develop test validation scripts using designated languages (e.g., Python)
• Create automated test cases for GUI/COTS applications (Selenium, Katalon)
• Leverage DevOps for repeatability and configuration management
• Document end-to-end test narratives in Jira/Confluence
• Generate test data and identify edge cases for customer needs
• Support performance testing using JMeter
• Execute duties within Commercial cloud environments
