Job summary
SPACE EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES CORP in Redmond seeks a Software Engineer for the development test automation team. You will design, build, and automate test systems for satellite hardware and other technologies. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and experience in Python and/or C/C++. The position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 to $175,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits, including stock options and paid vacation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Experience in Python and/or C, C++ required.
- Curiosity and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop modular, reusable test and automation software in Python.
- Write automation software to interact with hardware and test equipment.
- Invent tools for reliable software deployment and data analysis.
Skills
Development experience in Python

Troubleshooting and debugging
Familiarity with test equipment
Education
