Job summary

Oxley Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The role focuses on automated and manual testing, creating test plans, executing tests, and reporting defects.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of automation testing, a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, and experience with Selenium and Jira. Remote work within the United States is available.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and analyzes system specifications.
  • Collaborates with Business Analysts, Test Engineers and Test Planners/Managers to develop effective test strategies, test plans, and procedures.
  • Executes automated test cases and analyzes results.
  • Evaluates product code according to specifications.
  • Creates logs to document testing phases and defects and confirms that requirements are verified and validated.
  • Reports bugs and errors to development teams.
  • Helps troubleshoot issues.
  • Conducts post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Works with cross-functional teams and ensures quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
  • Manages the defect database and/or logs.

Position Description: The Automation Test Engineer assesses software quality through both automated and manual testing and works with developers, end users, and organizations to create test plans and test scripts. This position supports the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Compensation & Benefits: The annual projected pay range for this position is $76,559.55 - $85,066.17 with consideration being given to various factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, job responsibilities, and geographic location.

Minimum/General Experience: 4 years of automation software testing experience
