Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join the Automation and Tools Development team in Sunrise, FL. This contract role focuses on building automation tools, test infrastructure, and frameworks to improve test efficiency and reliability within an Agile Scrum environment.

You will work on ECU interfaces, CI/CD pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to automation initiatives and expanding tools across multiple labs with a hybrid onsite/offsite setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of OOD, multithreading, algorithms, and data structures experience.
• 2+ years of Python development and automated testing with Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software tools and automation features that support automated testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain test libraries interfacing with ECUs, test mgmt systems, and defect tracking systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts converting manual tests to automated tests.
• Create and maintain automation configurations and execution pipelines.
