Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright (UI, API & E2E testing).
• Build and enhance Java-based automation frameworks for web and backend validation.
• Analyze requirements, identify test scenarios, and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Investigate defects, perform root‑cause analysis, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright (UI, API & E2E testing).
• Build and enhance Java-based automation frameworks for web and backend validation.

Required Skills & ExpertiseTechnical Skills:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright for automation (TypeScript or Java version).
• Proficiency in Java, OOP concepts, and test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle).
• Experience in API automation (Rest Assured/Postman/Playwright API).
• Solid understanding of Web technologies (HTML, DOM, selectors, browser behavior).
• CI/CD knowledge with Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Version Control (Git).
• Exposure to Docker, cloud test execution (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage.
• Soft Skills
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing (JMeter/Gatling) is a plus.
• Knowledge of BDD tools (Cucumber) is desirable.
• Experience with test reporting dashboards (Allure, Extent Reports).
