Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a software automation engineer to enhance and automate testing across devices and apps. You will build tools to configure Dexcom devices, parse logs, and analyze failures, while developing APIs to run automation and automate Jira workflows.

You will automate end-to-end testing on iOS/Android devices, integrate tools like Jira, Testrail, Slack, GitHub and Datadog, and drive scalable automation across teams, with strong collaboration and continuous learning.

Qualifications

2–5 years of software development experience and knowledge of OO languages (Python/Java).
Experience building RestAPIs and interfacing with embedded devices; automation focus.
Proficient with Jira, Testrail, GitHub, Docker and cloud services (AWS/GCP).

Responsibilities

Build tools to configure and control Dexcom devices and apps, parse logs, and analyze failures.
Develop tools and APIs to run automation, send notifications, generate docs, and automate Jira workflows.
Automate end-to-end testing on iOS/Android devices to validate features.
Advocate automation platforms and drive scalable automation development.
Create integrations between Jira, Testrail, Slack, GitHub, Datadog to automate data transfers.
Identify improvement areas and track ROI from automation/development efforts.
Collaborate with the team and pursue continuous learning and innovation.
Contribute to cross-functional projects across Product, R&D, and Commercial teams.
