Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Bentleyville, PA, is seeking a Test Engineer to develop, execute, troubleshoot, and improve product validation testing and test infrastructure. You will lead test data acquisition, instrumentation, and controls, collaborating with Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate validation and rapid issue resolution.

The role focuses on validating vacuum pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment, maintaining LabVIEW apps, and driving test-process

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Controls engineering.
3+ years of experience in test engineering or a related manufacturing role.
U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain government security clearances.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and execute validation testing for vacuum pumps, compressors, packaged systems, and related rotating equipment.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve product/test-system issues to support qualification and release.
Own motors, VFDs, DC drives, PLCs, controls, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems.
Maintain and improve LabVIEW applications, NI hardware, instrumentation systems, and test infrastructure.
Analyze test data and trends to support product design improvements and test-method optimization.
Create and improve test procedures, calibration plans, and standard work instructions.
