Job summary

Tata Elxsi is seeking bright and passionate Engineers to contribute to a team responsible for product testing of broadband device platforms and Smart Home cameras.

The role involves designing test environments, writing test cases, executing tests across multiple systems, and leading a range of testing activities with CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing for broadband devices.
• Write and maintain automated regression tests for CI/CD pipelines.

• Plan, estimate, and design test strategies and workloads.

We are looking for bright and passionate Engineers to Contribute to a team responsible for the Product testing of broadband device platforms / Smart Home cameras.

Skills

• Good knowledge on broadband product validation
• Good knowledge in Wi-Fi, DOCSIS and Voice services
• Good knowledge in designing test environment for broadband device validation.
• Write and execute test cases for large and complex features across multiple systems.
• Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria for the purposes of creating initial test designs.
• Perform as technical lead by planning, estimating, strategizing, workload designing, and test cases designing.
• Manage defects and configure test data. Lead functional, regression, ad-hoc, exploratory, smoke testing, integration testing, and any other kind of software testing needed for the application in a timely manner.
• Write automation tests. Collaborate with the software development team, Quality engineering and tools teams to troubleshoot issues in production and lower environments. Create automated regression testing suites for CI/CD Test Automation.
• Identify cross-functional dependencies and potential risks and quality issues.
• Utilize Build/Platform tools and continuous integration environments using Jenkins.
