Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Automation Technician in Swiftwater, PA to support automated process control systems across manufacturing facilities. Youll work with Operations, QA, IS, and Engineering to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and networked controls, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong hands-on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, P&ID literacy, and the ability to work with 120–480 VAC equipment.

Qualifications

GED or high school diploma required; an associate degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years in automation and electro‑mechanical engineering.
Understanding of P&ID and ability to read/w troubleshoot control systems.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting能力.
Capable of PLC ladder logic, HMI/SCADA programming, and networked systems.
Comfortable with 120VAC–480VAC and field instrumentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide support for automated process control systems in manufacturing.
Serve as Automation Site Support interface with Operations, QA, IS, Engineering, and Maintenance.
Troubleshoot automated equipment, investigate deviations, and assist in process evaluation.
Contribute to faster response times and standard automation procedures.
