Job summary

Moriroku Technology North America, a leading automotive supplier, seeks an Automation Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production automation equipment. You will install utilities, calibrate machines, and program robots to optimize cycle times on injection molding, paint, and assembly lines.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, PLC experience, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
Experience in industrial automation, preferably automotive manufacturing.
Proficient with PLCs, vision systems, and machine controls.
Familiarity with injection molding processes is a plus.
Ability to read schematics, manuals, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Install utilities and equipment for injection molding, paint, and assembly lines.
Calibrate machines to OEM specifications to meet quality targets.
Program robots for part take-out and gate cuts; optimize cycle times.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, and vision issues.
Monitor preventive maintenance and document activities per ISO/IATF.
Support changeovers on welders and related equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with departments.
