Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician for a high-volume poultry facility in Fremont, NE. You will diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems, support PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production.

You will also train technicians and operators while maintaining documentation, backups, and equipment revisions to support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot using PLC tooling.
• Exposure to HMI/SCADA systems and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and networks.
• Repair and maintain electrical controls on processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot HMI/SCADA screens and create/modify UI components.
• Train technicians and operators on equipment and processes.
• Maintain documentation and backups of programs and configurations.
