Job summary

BD in Broken Bow, NE is seeking a hands-on Electrical/Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair automated manufacturing equipment, diagnose PLCs, drives, and control systems, and support production and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related technical field, with 2+ years of experience. Forklift certification and strong teamwork are required, and safety/quality standards must be followed.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
Experience with PLCs, drives, controls, and automation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, and automation equipment.
Learn to diagnose and correct PLC and control system malfunctions.
Install, test, repair, and maintain electrical control devices, instruments, drives, and related equipment.
Support engineering projects involving PLCs, servo systems, vision systems, motor controls, molding equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration activities according to schedule.
Assist production teams with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and machine overhauls.
Work with PLCs, drives, and control systems to support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide guidance and training to Electrical Mechanical Technician Interns.
Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental standards and procedures.
