Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corp is seeking an Automation Technician for its Quick Coupling Division in Union City, PA. This role supports design, build, programming, commissioning, and ongoing production support of automated manufacturing systems to improve equipment performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have PLC/SCADA/HMI programming experience, electrical background, and the ability to travel for installation, startup, and service activities.

Qualifications

Associate degree or higher in engineering or related field (Automation, Electro-Mechanical preferred).
Electrical background required; PLC/SCADA/HMI programming experience.
Experience with troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning of automation equipment.

Responsibilities

Program and troubleshoot automated equipment using PLC, SCADA, and HMI platforms.
Support robotic systems and automated work cells.
Interpret electrical prints and control documentation for commissioning.
