Job summary

Ag Growth International Inc. (AGI) is seeking an Engineering Technician – Technical Expert in Omaha, NE. You will support automation tasks for NECO Dryer systems, diagnose control issues, and work with the development team to incorporate customer feedback into improvements.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming, electrical schematics, and VFD/control systems. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 0-2 years of experience with PLC based automation.
Associate degree or certificate in automation/PLC programming with 2-5 years hands-on automation/controls experience.
Experience with PLC and HMI programming preferred.

Responsibilities

Support production, customers and service with automation-related tasks on AGI NECO Dryer systems.
Diagnose control vs hardware issues and provide step-by-step solutions.
Collaborate with development engineering to improve offerings and drive continuous improvement.
