Job summary

Danos is hiring Automation Technicians to support oil and gas production facilities with hands-on control systems and instrumentation. The role requires PLC/SCADA experience and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

You will read electrical schematics, work with RTUs, and ensure safety and reliability on site, with housing options available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of oil and gas automation, instrumentation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Technical degree or vocational training in Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, Automation, or related field preferred.
• Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.) preferred.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and RTUs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, enter confined spaces, walk, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background check, drug test, MVR check, fit for duty, and agility.
