Job summary

Henkel’s Consumer Brands team in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking a Skillbridge Automation Technician to keep plant equipment running and production on schedule. The role focuses on PLC, VFD, servo, robotics, vision, HMI, and safety circuits, with collaboration across Engineering, Maintenance and Production.

Qualifications include an associate degree in electronics or automation controls or 4 years of equivalent experience; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; experience with Allen-Bradley and Ladder

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or automation controls or 4 years comparable experience.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, servo systems and robotics is desirable.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical/control systems and apply lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC, VFD, servo, robotics, vision, HMI and safety circuits to keep production running.
• Create and update programs/graphics for new and existing projects with Engineering, Maintenance and Production.
• Lead troubleshooting and train operators/maintenance on basic operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform electrical/control based preventative maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Complete controls and electrical work orders as assigned.
