Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Buffalo Grove, IL seeks an Automation Technician to diagnose and optimize injection molding automation, robots, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems. Responsibilities include programming and fine-tuning molding robots (Sepro, Fanuc, Yushin, Wittmann), performing preventive maintenance, and supporting kaizen initiatives for lean improvements.

Requires at least 4 years in injection molding automation, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to read schematics; HS

Qualifications

4 years of experience in injection molding automation or related field.
Electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with robot programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve issues with molding automation systems, including robots, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems.
Program and fine-tune molding robots for part handling, degating and packaging.
Perform scheduled maintenance on automation equipment to ensure reliability.
Modify robot paths and sequences to improve cycle time and part quality.
Support mold trials and new product launches with automation sequences.
