Job summary

Silgan Dispensing seeks an Automation Technician III to support automation installation, setup, repair, and maintenance in a fast-paced injection molding environment. The role requires leading junior technicians, understanding robotics, and guiding in programming and vision basics while ensuring cGMP standards.

The position involves training peers, following engineering instructions, and performing equipment changeovers across multiple product lines with safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Vocational school certificate or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems in automated equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot advanced AC and DC electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up automation equipment per engineering specifications.
• Repair and troubleshoot robotics and automation cells.
• Train junior technicians in installation and setup.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment in a cGMP environment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.
