Job summary

Select Water Solutions is seeking an Automation Technician II to install, adjust, and operate electrical and mechanical automation devices in a field setting. This full-time role reports to the Operations Manager and requires travel; a valid driver's license is a must.

You will set up, repair, and support automation equipment, generate routine reports, and train field staff while adhering to safety and SOP standards. Strong technical skills and multi-tasking ability are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of related working experience is required.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive a company vehicle.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Technical expertise and ability to follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs automation equipment including level, pressure, and flow devices.
• Ensures high quality and adherence to SOPs.
• Provides on-site and phone training to field personnel on new processes.
• Compiles and generates reports.
• Drives trucks to transport equipment and perform tasks.

Job Description

Select's Automation Technician II set up, adjusts, and operates electrical and mechanical automation devices and systems.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

• Installs and repairs various automation equipment, including but no limited to, level, pressure, flow and communication devices.
• Ensures high quality and adherence to standard operating procedure.
• Provides training on-site and over the phone to field personnel for new processes and technologies.
• Compiles and generates reports.
• Drives trucks to transport equipment and perform job tasks.

Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands and Exposures

• Work is regularly performed in outside weather conditions, including rain and extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts; exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is expected.
• Exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection.
• Prolonged sitting, standing, walking.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
