Job summary

Giti Tire USA Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Tech to troubleshoot industrial electrical and mechanical equipment and automated systems, supporting the maintenance team in solving complex issues.

You will assist engineering in planning, designing, installing, and debugging automation for higher machine productivity and product quality, while ensuring compliance with government regulations and maintaining the company’s reputation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting electromechanical systems.
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Studio 5000 software.
• Ability to use standard test equipment.
• Hands-on CAM, MATLAB, and Excel knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate equipment failures and diagnose faulty operation, and make recommendations to maintenance crew.
• Analyze reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Provide engineering information as needed by answering questions and requests.
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning to specs.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and maintenance personnel.
• Interface with vendors, outside technical support, and contractors as needed.
• Communicate unresolved issues to planners for PM or shutdown.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Create procedures and one-point lessons to build the team’s knowledge.
• Follow company policies as required.
• Perform other duties of equal or less complexity as assigned or directed.
• Engage and retain high-performance standards and elevate responsibility and performance.
• Available to work a 12-hour rotating 2-2-3, day or night schedule.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and possess integrity, curiosity, a positive attitude, and a growth mindset.
