Job summary

DuPont™ Spectrum™ is seeking an automation professional to program, monitor, and debug PLC logic and robotic systems across manufacturing lines. You will provide technical guidance, training, and problem solving throughout operations while collaborating with manufacturing engineers on continuous improvement projects to reduce cost and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree in automation and/or 3-5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Experience in custom manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, monitor, and debug PLC logic, 3/6 axis robots, collaborative robots, vision systems, and motion controls.
• Markup electrical schematics and update CAD files for automation changes.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and problem solving across operations.
• Identify and help implement continuous improvement projects addressing manufacturing issues and/or cost savings opportunities.
• Coordinate with outside automation houses on large programs.
