Job summary

Jack Link’s Protein Snacks is seeking a Maintenance – Automation Technician to ensure automated machines run efficiently. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems and PLCs to minimize downtime.

The role requires knowledge of maintenance best practices, adherence to GMPs/HACCP, and the ability to manage start-ups and equipment condition across shift changes.

Qualifications

• Some college level training in Electronics Technology or similar technical field.
• Combination of experience and skilled trade’s programs or military training.

Responsibilities

• Load product into machines as needed to get ready for startup.
• Set up lines correctly and operate auto-palletizing robot.
• Ensure cartoner, case erector, and robotic palletizer are operating effectively.
• Follow GMPs and HACCP as trained; maintain start-up condition of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment as scheduled.
