Job summary
Kelly Services, in collaboration with a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking an Automation Technician for the Fenton, MI area. This direct hire role offers permanent employment and a comprehensive benefits package from day one.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining complex machinery, fluids, pneumatics, robotics, and control systems while supporting continuous improvements in throughput and reliability. Shifts rotate to cover 2nd and 3rd lines with OT opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of related mechanical or electrical experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical materials and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and line systems.
- Collaborate with engineering on process improvements and data-driven optimization.
