Wilsonart is seeking an Automation Technician to set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC and automated equipment for hard surface components. You will interpret drawings, manage tool offsets, and ensure quality while supporting robotic systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years CNC experience, knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis machining, and CAD/CAM familiarity. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and ongoing training of operators.

Qualifications

• 5+ years CNC machining experience.
• Expert knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC processes.
• Familiar with CAD workflows and CNC programming concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and safe shop practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment to fabricate solid surface parts.
• Read drawings, load programs, and set up tooling and offsets.
• Program and operate CNC mills, lathes, or routers per instructions.
• Troubleshoot diagnostics and perform routine maintenance.
• Train new Machine Operators and support robot deployment.
