MetalTek is seeking an Automation Specialist to support the implementation, startup, operation, optimization and sustainment of advanced manufacturing automation systems. You will assist with robotic, CNC/CAM, vision, and automated processes in a fast-paced production environment.

Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering and vendors to improve equipment performance, knowledge transfer, and operational excellence while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Automation Technology, Robotics, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience supporting industrial automation systems in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience programming or troubleshooting robotic systems and/or CNC equipment preferred.
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, stabilization, or optimization of manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Experience collaborating with automation vendors and contractors preferred.
