Job summary
Employbridge is seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support and maintain automated production and material handling equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment near Whittier, CA.
You will troubleshoot conveyors, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, and VFDs; perform preventive maintenance; minimize downtime; and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Experience with electrical troubleshooting up to 480V and reading electrical and mechanical schematics is preferred.

Job description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support and maintain automated production and material handling equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing conveyors, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, VFDs, and electrical equipment; performing preventive maintenance; minimizing downtime; and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Candidates should have experience with industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting (up to 480V), automation systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Pay Rate: $27.00-$38.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM; Saturday, 1:00 PM-9:00 PM
- Experience troubleshooting automated equipment and conveyor systems
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, motors, VFDs, and electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and equipment reliability
- Previous experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred
