Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking an Automation Technician to join our manufacturing team in Minneapolis, MN. You will operate semi-automated plate production machines, fill liquids into microplates and package vials into plastic pouches, while maintaining batch records.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–2 years of relevant experience or a technical/associate degree. Safety, SOP adherence, and clear communication in English are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical or associate degree in Mechatronics / Automation / Biotech Manufacturing preferred.
  • Prior experience with general laboratory equipment (pipets, analytical balance, microscope, incubator and degassing device) is required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machines to fill liquids into vials and microplates.
  • Package standard vials into plastic pouches using standard pack equipment.
  • Batch and label products manually or with automated equipment.
  • Set up, clean, and operate semi-automated manufacturing equipment.

Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.**Pay Range:$18.40 - $25.30**Automation Technician**We are looking for an Automation Technician to join our Automation manufacturing team in the production of Protein Simple Consumables science products. In this role, you will play a crucial part in a variety of tasks within a laboratory setting, with primary duties focusing on the preparation and filling of specialized microtiter plates with liquid products using semi-automated plate production machines.
