Job description

Position Description

This position involves investigating and resolving quality issues within the facility and field-related items. The role requires working with all involved parties to determine the root cause and implement acceptable resolutions to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform electrical and mechanical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as machinery, motors, and generators from blueprints or diagrams. Work with precision equipment requiring detailed adjustments and setups. Troubleshoot CNC equipment using laptops and understand PLC logic and communication.
2. Read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical drawings and understand arithmetic formulas. Conduct detailed analysis to diagnose failures and faulty operation of production equipment, making repairs or adjustments as needed. Recommend corrective procedures to minimize future issues.
3. Utilize strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills. Provide training to others as needed.

Required Education & Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machine controls and mechanical systems. Ability to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions, with a willingness to attend training to stay updated on technological changes. Vocational training in automation (2 years preferred). Ability to write programs when necessary.
