IEP Worldwide is seeking an Automation Technician in Fair Play, Missouri, to build, install, configure, and maintain automation equipment across industrial environments.   • Experience performing preventive maintenance on machines and automation systems to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Background in industrial automation, including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools, test equipment, and diagnostic software safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing settings is beneficial; willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies is essential.

Role Description

The Automation Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Fair Play, MO. This position is responsible for building, installing, configuring, and maintaining automation equipment and systems across industrial environments. Day-to-day tasks include building control panels, diagnosing equipment issues, performing mechanical and electrical repairs. The Automation Technician will collaborate with engineers and other technicians to implement upgrades, support migrations, and ensure safe and efficient operation of automated machinery.
