Title: Automation Maintenance Tech. (Multi-Disciplined Tech. II)

Summary:

• This position will support automation systems in the warehouse area of Client’s Concord Optical Fiber plant, working directly with equipment and systems responsible for order fulfillment.
• After an initial training period (Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm), the work schedule will likely follow a 12-hour day/night rotation in accordance with Client’s production shift schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of automation systems in the warehouse, including mini load AS/RS cranes, Fanuc robots, roller conveyors, and automation devices.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth process and equipment operation, resolving issues promptly.
• Work with engineering on advanced support issues or process improvement projects.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks thoroughly.

Qualifications:

• Education: A.A.S. in Engineering Technology or 5+ years relevant hands-on experience if no degree.
• Experience with AS/RS systems.
• Hands-on experience with AC/DC and servo motors, pneumatic systems, sensors, valves, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Proficiency in Windows PC and Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with safety awareness around automated equipment.
