Qualifications

  • Experience as an industrial electrician or electrical maintenance.
  • Familiarity with calibration processes and use of precision measuring instruments.
  • Proficiency with Calypso for quality control measurements.
  • Military service is a plus, indicating discipline and technical training.
  • Knowledge of vision inspection systems to enhance quality.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation systems, with expertise in various technical areas including hydraulics, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes and requires a blend of technical knowledge and customer service skills.

Duties

  • Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems.
  • Perform maintenance on hydraulic systems and ensure proper calibration of sensors and precision measuring instruments.
  • Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Conduct field service visits to install, maintain, or repair automated systems at customer locations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system designs using AutoCAD and other design tools.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize CNC machinery for automation tasks as needed.
  • Document all maintenance activities and updates in accordance with company protocols.

Experience
Candidates should have a solid foundation in the following areas:
