Job summary

SSW Advanced Technologies LLC is seeking an Automation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated systems. You will work with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and robotics, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in an automation technician role or a similar position.
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Familiarity with HMI software and configuration.
  • Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Provide technical support and training to production personnel on the operation of automated equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols within the automation area.
