Job summary

Maas Energy Works, Inc. in Redding, CA, is hiring an Automation Team Manager to lead the automation and programming team within the PUMA Works department.

This people-first leadership role focuses on developing engineers, balancing workloads, and driving tickets and projects to completion across multiple digester and RNG facilities. You will collaborate with a Technical Lead and report to the Director of PUMA Works, owning people development, capacity planning, and throughput while helping

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing or supervising technical staff
• Working technical background in industrial automation or related field
• Experience managing a work queue or project portfolio
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in English

Responsibilities

• Lead automation programmers and support staff
• Manage performance, hiring, and capacity planning
• Coordinate with Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Construction
• Own ticket queue health and throughput metrics
• Escalate resource conflicts and schedule risks
• Support process improvements and budget planning
