JOB DESCRIPTION

Client in Allen, TX seeks a Software Developer focused on QA Automation to join a high-performing technology team. In this role you will design, build, and enhance internal applications that support automated testing processes and improve overall software quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and support internal QA automation tools and web applications
• Enhance existing applications to improve performance, usability, and stability
• Collaborate with QA teams to build test scenarios and generate test data
• Support the execution, debugging, and optimization of automated test scripts
• Partner with cross-functional teams to refine test automation environments
• Assist in identifying and resolving defects discovered during testing
• Contribute to documentation, training, and best practice adoption

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience developing REST APIs
• Hands‑on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with modern frameworks (Angular preferred)
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience working with source code repositories (e.g., Git)

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with C# or Java
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Exposure to SQL Server or Windows Server administration
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Basic Unix skills (shell scripting, file editing)
