Job summary

Exotec, based in Atlanta, designs and delivers advanced automation solutions for warehouse environments. We seek an experienced engineer to translate client needs into integrated systems, own equipment specs, and coordinate cross-functional teams through design, testing, and deployment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with hardware and software teams, managing external partners, and maintaining high technical rigor to ensure successful client outcomes at scale in midtown Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering automation and systems integration projects.
• Ability to define and review technical specs and interfaces.
• Proven track record with external suppliers and partners.
• Comfortable working across engineering disciplines and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical interface with clients to translate needs into integrated automation.
• Define and approve equipment specs, interface requirements, and deliverables.
• Drive alignment between Exotec systems, third-party equipment, and client environments.
• Own integration activities from design through deployment and testing.
• Identify risks and dependencies across multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure compatibility of equipment, software interactions, and workflows.
• Manage external suppliers and partners through design to commissioning.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment readiness.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Deployment, PM, and Product teams.
• Provide technical support during deployment and ramp-up.
• Mentor engineers on integration best practices and supplier management.
• Uphold Exotec culture, engineering standards, and continuous improvement.
