Job summary

Impact Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Automation Systems Engineer for Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms in the Greater Milwaukee area. This permanent role offers a base salary up to $110,000, profit sharing, and full benefits, with 25%–50% domestic travel for field startups.

You will design PLC/HMI code from scratch, configure motion and vision systems, review schematics, and lead on-site startups. A degree in Engineering/Automation and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years writing Allen-Bradley PLC logic from scratch or equivalent
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field
• Willingness to travel 25%–50% domestically for field startups
• Stable career history with prior employers
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder living within commuting distance of Greater Milwaukee area

Responsibilities

• Design Scratch PLC/HMI Code for complex automation systems
• Configure Motion & Vision Systems with servo drives and EtherNet/IP
• Review Electrical Schematics with CAD teams for safety and BOM alignment
• Lead on-site customer startups and commissioning (25%–50% travel)
• Optional: integrate C#, VB.NET or SQL for data integration
