Job summary

Albertsons Companies in the United States seeks a Senior Manager of Automation Sustainment to lead lifecycle maintenance of warehouse automation across the network. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years sustaining/operating warehouse automation systems with uptime impact.
• Strong knowledge of reliability and maintenance practices and governance routines.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional problem solving with operations, maintenance, engineering/automation, and vendors.
• Experience managing vendor performance, SLAs, and contract discussions.
• Excellent communication skills; translate system health into actionable operations.
• Strong analytical skills; use data to prioritize work and quantify losses.
• Demonstrated ability to drive standardization and disciplined execution.
• Travel required (~40%).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an automation sustainment strategy to maximize uptime and continuity across the network.
• Drive an OEE culture with a standardized methodology and reporting cadence.
• Lead governance using KPIs to identify losses, diagnose root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate incident and problem management with rapid restoration and RCA.
• Own lifecycle sustainment programs and spare-part obsolescence signals for upgrades.
• Own the multi-million-dollar annual automation sustainment CapEx budget and track outcomes.
