Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing, automation, and/or purchasing.
  • Understanding of material handling and material flow.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supplier automation maturity assessments using GM frameworks.
  • Develop and implement automation maturity strategies.
  • Optimize material handling and flow to meet targets.
  • Coordinate assessments and improvement plans at facilities.
  • Interface between suppliers and GM teams for data-driven decisions.
  • Lead supplier engagement and negotiations with cross-functional teams.
  • Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop and improve GM’s automation maturity model.
