Job summary

NiSource Inc. is seeking a Process Automation Specialist to design, develop and implement automation solutions using Visual Studio, Pega, Access, and SQL databases to support the Customer Contact Centers' strategic goals.

You will troubleshoot and liaise with IT to ensure seamless operation. Responsibilities include leading project plans, testing, deployment, and ongoing support, with flexibility for offhours as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certification in computer programming/management.
• 1-3 years of experience developing applications in a corporate environment.
• Experience with CIS and/or DIS is preferred.
• Ability to balance development, testing, and support roles.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, code, test, and implement automation tool solutions to continuously improve operations.
• Collaborate with CCC Operations and other business partners to identify automation opportunities.
• Review performance data to determine improvements from automation solutions.
• Develop project plans for implementation and manage execution.
• Coordinate with IT and both onshore and offshore teams to ensure timelines are met.
