Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking an Automation Application Specialist, Protein Purification, to join the OneSource Scientific Services team at the GSK Upper Providence campus in Collegeville, PA. You will collaborate with a diverse biotherapeutic portfolio and support innovative research through automated lab workflows and protein purification activities.

Ideally you have 3–5 years of hands-on experience with biology/biochemistry techniques (FPLC, Western blot, LC-MS) and automation instrumentation, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry with 3–5 years of hands-on lab experience.
• 3–5 years using automation instrumentation and lab techniques.
• Experience with high-throughput platforms (Tecan) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to document experiments clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality research support in automation, cell culture, assay support, and protein purification.
• Perform lab/ equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and QC/QA analyses as needed.
• Interpret and communicate complex data to technical and non-technical colleagues.
