Job summary
Automationtechies in Lexington, KY is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to develop automated solutions for manufacturing clients.
You will combine your mechanical engineering background with CAD skills to create concept designs and present proposals to demonstrate value and competitive advantages.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 3D CAD proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
- Experience with simulation tools such as SolidWorks Simulation, MotoSim, RoboDK, RoboGuide.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand applications, challenges, and automation requirements.
- Develop conceptual solutions for custom automation systems using robotics, AMRs, conveyors, and other automation technologies.
- Create and present automation concepts and proposals, communicating value and advantages of each solution.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and management to align solutions with project objectives.
- Support quoting by developing feasible concepts, equipment needs, and cost estimates.
- Research new technologies to identify innovative automation solutions for customer applications.
- Participate in customer presentations, site visits, and technical discussions throughout the project lifecycle.
