Job summary

Seegrid is seeking an Application/Industrial Engineer to act as an automation consultant across warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing. You will determine requirements, select Seegrid products, and develop custom automation solutions while supporting the sales team with technical insights and demonstrations.

You will analyze complex customer data, create AutoCAD layouts, size fleets, and travel to sites for data collection and presentations, with heavy collaboration across sales, engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, including Canada and Mexico, with short notice.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and spreadsheet data analysis.
• Excellent communication and comfortable presenting to customers.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sales by recommending Seegrid automation solutions based on customer requirements.
• Travel to customer sites to gather data, spot automation opportunities, and build relationships.
• Analyze customer data to guide design decisions and validate feasibility.
• Provide technical consultation on material handling automation best practices.
• Demonstrate the financial value of Seegrid solutions to customers.
• Create AutoCAD layouts optimizing AMR travel routes and fleet sizing.
• Select appropriate products and determine required fleet sizes.
• Conduct live product demonstrations at Seegrid HQ and customer facilities.
