Job summary

Quanta Nashville seeks a Software Engineer to build and modify software systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production, quality and manufacturing through automated solutions.

The role involves designing software, creating process documentation, and applying engineering analysis to ensure updated, reliable systems. Occasional travel and interaction with PE/Maintenance teams may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field.
• 2–3 years of automated manufacturing experience.
• Experience in visual software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops computer software systems.
• Creates flowcharts and documentation to identify software requirements.
• Applies CS, engineering and math analysis to the software development process.
• Coordinates with hardware engineers to assess feasibility under cost/time constraints.
• Performs NI vision/Robot software testing focused on procedures and programming.
• Communicates maintenance procedures for software systems with customers.
