Elbit America in Roanoke Valley, VA seeks a Software Automations Engineer II to translate process control concepts into software interfacing with hardware. You will contribute through full SDLC activities, including design, programming, integration, and debugging across robotics, machine vision, and data systems.

The role emphasizes automated process control, test/measurement, and data integration with several platforms and protocols, supporting national security manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering with related experience.
Proficiency with Visual Studio, SQL Server and Windows.
Experience with relational databases and SQL; strong coding practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate across departments to document project requests and create statements of work.
Write clean, tested code with robust error handling.
Develop test plans and conduct unit/regression testing.
Enable data movement between equipment and databases; work across software and hardware platforms.
