Position: Automation Service Mechanic

Duration: 4 Months

Schedule: 3rd shift 7:00pm - 5:30am, 4-10hr days with rotating days off

Shift Differential: For 3rd shift

The Automation Service Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of process equipment through:

• Preventive maintenance
• Process improvement
• Repairs and Service response

The mechanic will collaborate with Supervisors to ensure system efficiency and will work under the supervision of Automation Supervisors or Superintendents.

Essential Functions, Tasks, and Responsibilities

• Safety Training and Review
• Equipment Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Review safe access to equipment
• Fall protection adherence
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Maintain accurate records
• Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
• Maintain system equipment integrity through preventive maintenance, process improvement, repairs, and operational support
• Provide technical diagnostics and hands-on support
• Ensure part usage is tracked and inventories are maintained
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with outside vendors and third parties
• Maintain effective communication with Operations and internal stakeholders
