Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a highly organized Scientist to join the High-Throughput Production team in Cambridge, MA. You will operate automated robotics to produce, purify, and QC hundreds of antibodies weekly in support of the R&D pipeline.

Success requires hands-on HT production experience, solid knowledge of protein expression/purification, strict SOP adherence, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality samples and data delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in high-throughput protein or antibody expression, purification, or analytical characterization.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in high-throughput protein or antibody expression, purification, or analytical characterization with a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-throughput expression, purification, and sample-preparation campaigns for antibodies and related molecules.
• Operate automated liquid handlers and robotics platforms; perform deck setup, checks, and basic troubleshooting per SOPs.
• Culture CHO and HEK293 cells; perform transient transfections and harvests following SOPs.
• Conduct routine production and QC testing; assess results and compile data packages for teams.
• Track samples and metadata in LIMS to ensure chain-of-custody and timely delivery.
